In 2018 I joined the Lacey Township Preschool team and began teaching PSD -Preschool Disabled and Inclusion. Once again I fell in love with preschool as well as my new district and my amazing new team. I immediately signed up at Kean University to complete my masters in Special Education and in May 2021 I will finally graduate. My aim is to hang my hat at the Lacey School District and be a foundational part of a growing early childhood program is a community oriented district.

Inspired by my overwhelming love for Books, Books and more Books along with the need for some funding in the Preschool Program where I taught, I helped to coordinate a book fair to raise money and help get us BOOKS!!
The theme of the book fair was Circus. My class kicked off the decorating for this event by creating a hallway filled with clowns. The Book fair was a HUGE success.

Teacher's That Rock
Receiving the Teacher Who Rocks Award was an incredible honor and one of the most meaningful moments of my career. I was deeply humbled to be nominated by my supervisor and truly overwhelmed by the support and encouragement from my department, colleagues, friends, and family.
Being surrounded by so many passionate and inspiring educators reminded me of the incredible impact teachers make every day. I am sincerely grateful to have received this recognition, but even more grateful to be part of a profession that allows me to inspire children, support teachers, and make a difference in the lives of others.
This award is one I will always cherish, and it continues to motivate me to lead with heart, serve others, and never stop learning.

Lacey's Staff Member of the Month
Nov 2021
Receiving Lacey Township's Staff Member of the Month for November 2024 was a truly special honor. What made this recognition especially meaningful was knowing that I had been nominated by multiple colleagues. Having the support of the people I work alongside every day—and seeing them come to celebrate with me—made the moment incredibly memorable.
There is something truly rewarding about being recognized by those who witness your dedication, passion, and hard work firsthand. I was also thrilled to have my family there to celebrate this milestone with me. Their love and encouragement, along with the support of my colleagues, made this an honor I will always treasure
